Episode 24 – Medicare Open Enrollment

The Annual Election Period for Medicare is just around the corner, and Robb gives an overview of the kinds of changes you can make during this time period, things you should be on the lookout for, and things you can ignore. All the national advertising will crank up around October 1st, and the actual Annual Election Period will start on October 15th and end on December 7th. During this time, anyone with Medicare Part A and B can enroll into or change their Medicare Advantage or Prescription Drug Plan, or disenroll from Medicare Advantage and return to Original Medicare. Believe it or not, this period has nothing to do with Medicare Supplements.
